Thank you for visiting our online store. We are a quaint little candle shop in a historical town by the sea located at 209 Monroe Avenue Extended, Lewes, Delaware 19958. All of our products are made by hand from start to finish. We believe in quality verses quantity. |

My name is Shirley, and I started making candles in 2002 when I was in a very low point in my life. I was struggling from a disease called Scleroderma and became unemployed. All of a sudden I felt I had no real purpose in life... or at least that is what I thought. I started doing volunteer work at my church, my dog Cody and I joined a local group called “Lower Delaware Therapy Dogs” where we visited senior citizens in nursing and rehabilitation homes and disabled children once a week. This is what helped me to realize how blessed I was! There is ALWAYS someone worse off. Just sit, look and listen, we see and hear it everyday. This is when I started soul searching trying to figure out what my “nitch” in life is. I pulled all of my passions together, and my disability, and was lead down the path where I am now. Through my interest in the therapeutic benefits of pets, aromatherapy, herbology and alternatives ways to improve ones health, I would like to share products to bring you joy and comfort. I learned it is the “simple things in life that we forget and it doesn’t have to cost a fortune to give gifts from the heart. |

We focus on Light, Sound and Smell. I am so fortunate to network with other artists who specialize in products to help us accomplish our goal. My sister Sharon from Sharon’s Soap and Ron from Linden Soaps make handmade soaps that bring you the special quality only a hand made soap can. Christine from Harp Spirit plays therapeutic Harp for soothing your soul... it is just beautiful! We have added many items so you can find a little something to bring joy to a friend or loved one, such as lotions, foot soaks, tea baths, bath salts, or a custom candle. We make many custom candles here on the premises, whether it is for a wedding , anniversary, baby shower, celebration of life or a candle to match your decor, we can help! This is what we love to do. Not only do I get to enjoy the benefits of working by doing something I love, I get to meet incredible people who walk in the store as a customer and ends up a friend! These are the people I can’t thank enough, they challenge me and keep me inspired and without their continued support I wouldn’t have this opportunity!
